Kitten season is still going strong in the DC area. While the house is already quite full and hectic- I couldn’t say no to this little face. . At most shelters, kittens that can’t eat on their own or go to the bathroom on their own are euthanized at the end of the day. . This is not because the shelter is “cruel” or doesn’t want to help these littles, it’s because they don’t have the resources to care for them overnight and the kittens can suffer from not being fed and stimulated to urinate. . This is why foster homes are so important! In most areas- fosters are the only way to keep these tinies alive. . This little one doesn’t have a name yet, but I can tell you she’s got a very large personality!
